What is a paternity test?
A paternity test compares the DNA profiles of the potential father and child. Shared genetic markers (STR loci) conclusively confirm or exclude biological paternity. Our laboratory analyses 16 to 26 markers depending on the chosen test variant.
The result is either confirmation of paternity with a probability greater than 99.99%, or complete exclusion with 100% certainty. No grey areas — you get a clear answer.

2. Sample collection
Buccal swab from the inside of the cheek — for both father and child. Painless, takes less than 2 minutes. Return samples in the enclosed envelope.
3. Laboratory analysis
Our laboratory processes the samples and compares DNA markers. Standard processing takes 5–10 business days.
4. Results
Results are sent by email and written report. We will call you if you have questions about the interpretation.
